Whether it is beef brisket, pork shoulders, ribs or chicken, each is seasoned by hand with rubs uniquely formulated to enhance the flavor. It is then placed in our Lang reverse flow wood-fired smoker and slow cooked over low temperatures until the ideal doneness is reached.
Once removed from the smoker the meat is allowed to rest to balance moisture and tenderness evenly throughout.
The art of traditional barbecuing calls for meat to be cooked at a low temperature for a long period of time over a wood fire. Southern Smokin' BBQ practices this art and realizes there is much more to the process. It is also about the friendships and memories that are created as the meat slowly simmers and the tempting smells leave a lasting impression on those that experience them.
